You will serve as an EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES SUPPORT ASSISTANT Code 630200 of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.
Duties
You will provide complete facility and equipment support.
You will operate a computer or word processor to create, edit, print, retrieve, or manipulate documents, charts, spreadsheets, and files.
You will perform periodic visual inspection of facilities and grounds.
You will provide assistance in physically moving, gathering, organizing, collecting, and staging equipment and materials for disposal.
You will utilize knowledge of inventory, equipment, procurement procedures, and facilities management support.
You will keep the Asset Management System (AMS) up-to-date
You will be coordinating and implementing Division space plans.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-01/04) or pay band (NC-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: I have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-01/04) or pay band (NC-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: (1) Performing visual inspections of facilities; (2) Operating web-based storage and retrieval systems; (3) Advising personnel on the proper tracking, inventory, transfer and disposal of equipment; (4) Interpreting rules and regulations and making recommendations for improvement; and 5) Effective oral and written communication.
