Duties
Serves as the Senior Business Advisor with the Defense Logistics Agency HR Operations DoD Customers Office.
Perform a wide variety of administrative, analytical and financial advisory duties that involve formulating, presenting, justifying, and monitoring DLA Human Resources Operations-DoD funding authority and manpower resources,
(cont.) and managing various other programs.
Formulates, justifies, and executes the DHRO-DoD budget which includes all long-term planning and the overall management of funds (revenue/expenditures).
Serves as Government Purchase Card Billing Official to include certifying monthly statements and responding to data mining inquiries.
Serves as program manager with development, oversight, and execution of Service Level and Support Agreements.
Manages and monitors the drug testing program for DoD serviced customers who have requested such support through their SLA.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Senior Business Advisor, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Utilizing financial management techniques and procedures to review customer budgets, invoices, operating and projected expenses to ensure compliance with applicable laws; Supporting Agency leaders with Service Level agreement management, preparation and requirements, and periodic review; Directing and overseeing a drug testing program for serviced customers as prescribed by a service level agreement

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
