About the Position: HQDA ODCS, G-3 OPERATIONS/READINESS/MOBILIZATION DIR WASHINGTON, D.C.

Duties

Oversee all of the organization's aspects of the readiness policy development, strategic readiness, joint readiness, and reporting. Remains current and captures all changes respective to organization readiness within policy, doctrine, and strategy. Assist in formulating policy and guidance for use throughout the organization for units and installations. Performs research and analysis, to include preparation of statistical data, narrative reports, and replies to Congressional inquiries for the organization's senior leaders.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • You may be expected to travel up to 10% for this position.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
  • One-year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Selectees will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug urinalysis testing.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Acquisition StrategyProblem SolvingTechnical Credibility Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
