Duties
You will work collaboratively with China Lake Ranges (CLR) engineering staff to develop tasking prioritization.
You will ensure that specialist personnel tasking is aligned properly, and workload is balanced to support traditional security, cybersecurity and Information Technology requirements across China Lake Ranges.
You will provide overall direction, coordination, and management of the branch as well as general supervisory administrative tasks.
You will ensure the appropriate operational security postures are maintained for facilities and information systems and that the systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and procedures.
You will collaborate with the Department Information System Security Manager (ISSM) on developing and overseeing operational information systems security implementation policy and guidelines.
You will provide personnel support to technical teams on secure operation of Range networks and communication systems.
You will deal effectively with management, officials from other activities, and customers.
You will implement Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies and goals.
You will lead strategic planning and process improvement efforts in the branch and Range Support Division.
Requirements

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 751 level Intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS 9-12) grade level or NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) ensuring that tasking is aligned properly, and workload is balanced to support traditional security, cybersecurity and Information Technology requirements; 2) Ensuring the appropriate operational security postures are maintained for facilities and information systems, and that the systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and procedures; 3) Providing personnel support to technical teams on secure operation of range networks and communication systems; and 4) Implementing Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies and goals.
