Duties
You will perform technical work in support of Integrated Logistics in support of maintenance, repair, modernization of all ships under the cognizance of the Southeast Regional Maintenance Center.
You will identify, initiate and coordinate procurement orders for all planned and emergent material requirements necessary to support maintenance projects.
You will track and expedite material shipments from initial point of embarkation (POE) to ultimate destination.
You will review maintenance reports, plans, availability schedules and contract specifications and evaluate the content for material demand and impact on material support.
You will research sources of supply through the Federal Supply System, including but not limited to: Real-time Residual Asset Management (RRAM) database, Class Common Equipment (CCE) payback warehouse and cannibalization.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) principles and concepts to plan, implement and support ship construction, conversion, overhaul, repair and modernization. Specialized experience also includes experience utilizing various automated data processing (ADP) databases and systems determining material availability, procurement, tracking, expediting and performing technical research. Examples of specialized experience include:
1) Providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and technical services to include maintenance, repair, and modernization in support of US Naval Ships or vessels
2) Procure orders for planned and emergent material requirements necessary to support ship maintenance projects
3) Track and expedite material shipments from initial point of embarkation (POE) to ultimate destination
4) Review reports, plans, schedules and contract specifications and evaluate for material demand and impact on material support;5) Utilize various automated data processing (ADP) databases and systems to determine material availability, procurement, tracking, expediting and performing technical research.

GS-09 SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: possess a master's or equivalent graduate degree, LL.B, J.D., or have completed two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to such a degree. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.GS-09 COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements.
