About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the US ARMY INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY CMD MISSION SUPPORT COMMAND ARMY INTELLIGENCE ENTERPRISE-DIGITAL FORT BELVOIR, VA.

Duties

Report directly to the Deputy GISA Director on multi-discipline Information management/Information Technology (IM/IT), Requirements and programs branch, Service Desk branch and Trojan Network Operations branch. Develop long range plans, establishes staff, and organizational objectives for future Network capabilities and requirements for INSCOM. Provide executive authority over the management of the GISA Enterprise Service Desk and the GISA Requirements and Program Office. Advise the GISA Director in the utilization and integration of innovative technologies in support of Network requirements, capabilities, and furtherance of an integrated Army Network.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
• All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
• Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required 25% or less of the time.
• This position requires Project/Program Management certification from a DoD, Army, or Commercially accredited institution within one (1) year of accepting the position.
