You will serve as a Digital Technology Coordinator in the Production Resources Department of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will respond to inquiries concerning Digital Technology and IT support and administration of management policies, employees and programs.
You will use quantitative and qualitative techniques to evaluate and improve the Digital Technology and Information Technology (IT) processes and provide technical, analytical, and problem-solving services.
You will maintain computer accounts to include new employee accounts, dormant accounts and support to the workforce and management.
You will prepare proposals for change that consist of objectives, scope, planning and expectations.
You will analyze, evaluate and provide recommendations on operating programs and the interrelationships among such programs in an effort to support the IT workforce.
You will serve as a liaison between the Information Technology and Cyber Security Office to advocate for improvements and resolutions to technical software support issues.
Requirements

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously when required.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing administrative support systems and applications (e.g., Automated Training Management System (ATMS), Waypoints, Adobe Connect, MS Outlook, and MS Teams) to analyze and evaluate digital technology operating processes in order to recommend improvements and coordinate implementation of changes for an organization.
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing administrative support systems and applications (e.g., Automated Training Management System (ATMS), Waypoints, Adobe Connect, Maritime Systems Environment (MSE), MS SharePoint, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook) to track, evaluate and identify digital process issues in support of digital technology process improvements for an organization.

master's or equivalent graduate degree

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
