About the Position: This position is located at the Military Police School at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is in Pulaski County, Mo. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2hr. drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is a little more than an hour's drive to the West of Fort Leonard Wood.
Duties
Coordinate and evaluate various aspects of the overall training mission, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and alignment with the established Accreditation and Credentialing standards.
Provide information and training to employees and training program staff to institute new processes and procedures.
Plan and coordinate Accreditation and Credentialing activities, including on-site visits, meetings, and other Accreditation Credentialing activities.
Conduct research concerning Accreditation Credentialing and training issues and develops written action plans, project plans, and reports.
Prepare written reports identifying problem areas and viable solutions to be used in formulating recommendations to modify course curricula, training material, instructional techniques, etc.
Draft, assign, or assist in writing or revising directives, training plans, reports, and other documents that impact the accomplishment of Accreditation and Credentialing objectives.
Develop methods and approaches necessary to establish relationships with other agency officials and serves as a communications link in order to ensure and encourage interest and participation in the Accreditation and Credentialing process.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/ or experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes developing a training program, performing training program analysis to ensure compliance with policies and/or regulations, and coordinating accreditation and credentialing activities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-9).
