About the Position: The position is located at the Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Fleet Management Expansion (FMX), Fort Moore, GA. Fort Moore is located 100 miles south of Atlanta, GA, and adjacent to Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training.
Duties
Perform clerical work in the documentary control of receipt, transfer, replenishment, adjustment and/or issue of stock of property items.
Determine stock replenishment for supplies and other centrally controlled items.
Ensure that supplies and funds are not wasted through excess accumulation.
Process of a variety of supply documents that includes examination, validation, coding, and reconciliation of the documents.
Operate a motor vehicle and off the installation to pick up and deliver supplies.
Contact vendors by telephone and orders supplies, equipment and services authorized for local purchase.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Pre-appointment medical examination/physical is required.
- This position requires the individual to possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) performing a variety of supply clerical duties including supply requisition, receipt, storage, and issue of expendable and non-expendable supply items; and 2) purchasing supplies using a credit card or equivalent way of purchase. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
