You will serve as a Technical Project Manager (Administrative/Technical) in the Ballistic Missile Defense, Integrated Combat Systems Portfolio of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties
You will provide senior Test and Evaluating leadership in the management of a team of Navy Test Officers, Shipboard Project Officers, and Project Engineers and Joint Interface Control Officers that are tasked.
You will lead large and diverse teams composed of civilian and military personnel to test Aegis BMD related systems for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
You will manage and budget expertise is required to facilitate the submission and execution of large and complex budgets in support of these test
events and campaigns.
You will advise and review the work of professional engineers and logisticians and provides technical guidance to achieve assigned project objectives
You will conduct Aegis and Aegis BMD test events both from ships and from a range.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative and technical oversight of projects related to ship combat and weapons systems to ensure compliance with financial and budgetary requirements.
