You will serve as a SPECIAL TECHNICAL OPERATIONS (STO) PROGRAM MANAGER of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.

Duties

You will be responsible for managing operations, plans, and exercises. You will work in collaboration with Headquarters and Service Component staff to develop and integrate concepts for operations. You will provide accurate and relevant information regarding operation capabilities, shortfalls, and limiting factors. You will be responsible for conducting wargaming to analyze courses of action.

• This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods for evaluating the effectiveness of plans and operations; 2) Developing new or modified work methods, approaches, or procedures; 3) Managing research projects to develop analysis on advanced technology programs; and 4) Assessing and managing risks to provide appropriate risk management guidance to stakeholders.
