You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the Total Force Management Program Office of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
Duties
You will shape or reshape and determine the direction of all programs affecting placement and training in the Civil Service Mariner (CIVMAR) Engine or Supply/Communications Community.
You will oversee and guide the Engine or Supply/Communications Community placement and training program functions.
You will provide oversight to the placement of qualified Civil Service Mariner (CIVMAR) in the Engine or Supply/Communications Community.
You will supervise and direct staff through two subordinate organizations.
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.

Requirements

- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
- Relocation expenses (i.e. PCS) or relocation incentives as described in 5 USC 5753 may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: .
Monitoring business operations affecting personnel to ensure they are in compliance with policy/instructions and fiscal requirements.
Preparing long-range and short-range planning guidance in accordance with program policies and objectives.
Utilizing concepts, policies, principles, practices and methodologies applicable to government programs, mission areas of responsibility and personnel management functions.
Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
