You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER Australia, United Kingdom, United States (AUKUS) Coordinator in the OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, COMSUBLANT NORFOLK VA of COMSUBFOR.
Duties
You will coordinate staff actions supporting manpower, intelligence, maintenance and logistics, and training and certification for AUKUS SSN crew.
You will develop and provide Australia with conventionally armed, nuclear powered submarine and /or advanced military capabilities to promote security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
You will coordinate the integration of Advanced Undersea Capabilities into the AUKUS SSN to realize the warfighting capability goals of the trilateral agreement.
You will lead and manage the development of policy to support AUKUS operations and doctrine to meet command mission objectives.
You will coordinate the development of the shore infrastructure in Australia necessary to support nuclear submarine operations.
You will speak on behalf of the Commander (VADM) for COMSUBLANT AUKUS goals and objectives essential to facilitate achievement of AUKUS national and international objectives.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.
- This is a Non-Key Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes. SCW level required: Basic-level Certification.
- Incumbent is required to maintain 20 hours of Security Cooperation professional development continuous learning every two-year period to maintain good standing in the DoD Security Cooperation Workforce Certification Program.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
(1) Experience in advanced management and organizational principles and practices along with a comprehensive knowledge of planning, programming, and budgeting regulations, guidelines and processes and thorough and comprehensive knowledge of United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) war plans, force protection, and current affairs to prepare long-range (5 year) and short-range planning guidance in accordance with broad submarine force program policies and objectives.
(2) Experience in developing guidance (staffing and resource) for subordinate activities and performing continuous appraisal of the utilization of command resources in accomplishing submarine force readiness, operational support, and presence program objectives and goals, including Submarine Rotational Force - West.
(3) Experience and knowledge of Australian and British military command structure, missions, programs, organizational relationships, cultural norms plus a thorough knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques to develop staffing standards covering complex program functions or missions including, special forces operations, battlegroup support operations, strike warfare, subsea-seabed warfare and other agency research operations, or staffing requirements for new or substantially altered training or operational missions and programs.
(4) Experience and knowledge of current affairs and the ability to evaluate the content of new or modified legislation for projected impact upon the AUKUS programs and resources.
(5) Experience and knowledge to translate approved legislation into US Submarine Force AUKUS program goals and actions.
(6) Experience and knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods plus a thorough understanding of how regulatory or enforcement programs are administered to select and apply appropriate evaluation and measurement techniques in determining the extent of compliance with rules and regulations within the AUKUS submarine forces, or in measuring and evaluating submarine force accomplishments.
(7) Experience, knowledge and skill in designing and conducting comprehensive management studies where the boundaries of the studies are extremely broad and often difficult to determine in advance.
