You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT (OFFICE AUTOMATION) in the administration section of the School of Infantry-East, Training Command, of the Training and Education Command
Duties
You will prepare itineraries and make arrangements for travel for the Commanding Officer.
You will assist in the development and implementation of business rules compliant with the DoD and Marine Corps directives.
You will oversee the operations and maintenance of the Defense Travel System
You will screen telephone calls and direct callers to the appropriate staff member.
You will maintain cardholders Statement of Understanding (SUO) and training certificates of files.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Composing, typing, copying, and editing correspondence; 2) Preparing itineraries and travel arrangements; 3) Directing external and internal inquiries to the correct expert / personnel; 4) Providing clerical and administrative support to senior management; and 5) Utilizing computer systems and various software packages (e.g., word processing; calendar; e-mail; spreadsheets; databases) in order to maintain electronic and hard copy files.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
