You will serve as a Transition Assistance Program Assistant in the Marine Corps Community Service Department of MARINE CORPS BASE.
Duties
You will adopt or improve transition program procedures at the direction of the Transition Readiness Branch Manager.
You will interview clients to determine their transitions needs and provide the necessary assistance.
You will assist in developing new or modified program policies and objectives.
You will assist in facilitating seminars and conferences.
You will identify problem areas, trends, and significant program accomplishments.
You will assist in conducting a public relations campaign to include written publications, personal contacts, and videos.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting with the military service members separating from the service and transitioning to civilian life; 2) Adopting new or improved transition program procedures at the direction of the CAB Manager; 3) Interviewing clients to determine their transition needs and provide the necessary assistance; 4) Identifying problem areas, trends, and significant program accomplishments; 5) Understanding the military lifestyle, and the objective of military family support programs..
