Duties
The Lead Project Manager (PM) is a staff member in the MCCS IT Portfolio Management Office (PMO) supporting the commercial side of the Marine Corps IT needs from: Retail (MCX), Lodging, Fuel, Family services and various other projects that will directly enhance the quality of life for the Marine and their families.

Qualifications
Bachelor¿s Degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Business Management or a related field appropriate to the work of position AND five years of project management experience that demonstrates knowledge of and skill in project initiation, planning, scheduling, execution and control, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above.Experience managing projects that delivered IT solutions for business capabilities is desirable. Must demonstrate understanding and application of project knowledge areas for integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, procurement, and stakeholders.Must demonstrate an understanding and application of the software and system development life cycle (SDLC) and the project management life cycle (PMLC) for IT projects. Must have understanding of software development methodologies, system architecture, network infrastructure, data management, and business analysis and system compliance requirements for cybersecurity, data protection, and Payment Card Industry (PCI) Must be experienced and skilled to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and customer personnel, verbally and in writing. Must demonstrate strong management, organization, and coordination skills.Eligible for incremental telework as determined by MR/MF policy.
