This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: PEO C3T is in an acquisition demonstration project, offers competitive salaries, pay banding, and pay for contribution. The NH-02 positions encompass the traditional GS-05 step 01 through GS-11 step 10 equivalent.
Duties
Apply a broad knowledge of manpower concepts, principles, and practices to analyze, evaluate and provide technical and advisory services on overall organizational alignment, personnel authorizations, and structure.
Performs and coordinates a wide range of management and administrative support and advisory functions that may include all or some of manpower management, human resource management, and budget.
Serves as a primary point of contact for manpower management for the Program Executive Office.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Occasional Temporary duty travel (TDY) is required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:1.) Utilizing databases to validate personnel and position alignment; 2.) Gathers data, conducts analysis, and prepares reports in support of management decision making; 3.) Planning, coordinating, and executing of manpower functions, resource allocations, and production. AND 4.) Using computers and computer applications to analyze and communicate information in the appropriate format.t. This description of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level or band (GS-04/NH-01)
