About the Position: Serve as an expert level analyst in the build and maintenance of requirements and authorization documents. Creates new Force Documentation which reflects HQDA approved manpower, equipment, and force structure decisions. Develops TOE, from approved Unit Reference Sheets (URS)/ Force Design Updates (FDUs) within the Force Management System (FMS. Ensures standardization and quality assurance with applicable guidance, business rules, regulations and HQDA guidance.

Duties

Ensure standardization, integration, and quality assurance of Force Documentation. Participate in evaluating results of documentation and design reviews. Use complex and unique office automation software to extract data for analysis. Evaluate major processes and programs including force documentation. Use manpower, and management information systems to analyze and evaluate various concepts.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Qualifications

This position is developmental and may be filled at the GS-12 or GS 13 level. The incumbent may be non-competitively promoted pending time-in-grade requirements and demonstrated ability to perform the next level/grade duties. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). or Specialized Experience - To be eligible at the GS 12 level: One year of specialized experience which includes; ensure techniques to determine the extent of compliance within rules and regulations; utilize statistical methods and techniques to direct studies and improve productivity; apply planning, guidelines, and processes to refine or develop methods and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12 or GS-11).
