Duties
Vets training provider by contacting agencies to include but not limited to state approving agencies, institutions of higher learning, and training institutions.
Responsible for records management of the credentialing email and file administration for the program. Maintains tracker on all received CA requests and on-boards agencies/institutions upon request into the database system.
Reviews documentation to ensure propriety of payment and files documents pending receipt of invoices and receiving reports.
Analyzes/researches discrepancies of documentation; i.e., money amount on invoice does not match amount on SF182, item numbers, and incorrect/invalid addresses.
Primary point of contact for customers. Consults, contacts by telephone, by email or by ArmyIgnitED / Help Desk messaging with service members receiving activities, contractors/vendors, and a variety of other Government and outside agency personnel.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance throughout the duration of employment.
- May be required to serve a one year trial period, if not previously completed.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized experience is defined as one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Reviewing and processing voluntary Education Credentialing Assistance (CA) funding requests for an agency using automated systems; 2) Utilizing agency automated systems e.g., Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (COOL) to research and determine prerequisite requirements and/or standards that support agency funding requests; And 3) Reviewing and processing agency Training Provider/Vendor applications in agency automated systems.

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.ORCombination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
