The selectee will serve as a Financial Systems Analyst with the Office of Chief Financial Officer. Typical work assignments include:

Qualifications
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level (starting salary $78,592) if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level performing duties such as: assisting with the analysis and implementation of financial management system software and enhancements; assisting with the maintenance of financial application modules and interfaces with other business systems; and/or providing input on specifications and recommendations for system/solution approach. OR
Ph.D. OR equivalent doctoral degree OR3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. OR A combination of graduate level education and experience. This will be calculated using your résumé and unofficial transcripts or a list of courses/course hours submitted with your application and performing duties such as assisting in the planning, coordinating, and collecting of systems requirements; and recommending system changes and testing of financial system applications and interfaces.
GS-12: You qualify for the GS-12 grade level (starting salary $94,199) if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level performing duties such as: assisting with the analysis and implementation of financial management system software and enhancements; maintaining financial application modules and interfaces with other business systems; providing input to the design and development of integrated systems to improve specific office functions; monitoring systems control, security and performance; and/ or testing of system applications and interfaces to determine their impact on automated systems.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
