You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Naval Sea Systems Command (SEA 21) Directorate.
Duties
You will manage, monitor, evaluate and coordinate the execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) to ensure achievement of desired outcomes through development and implementation of appropriate product support arrangements.
You will support development of product support strategies needed for Fleet sustainability from modernization.
You will resolve complex product support problems by developing, initiating and overseeing the implementation of unique corrective actions, new programs, major program enhancements and/or policy changes.
You will coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of Government Furnished Material and Equipment required for major ship modernization.
You will conduct in depth cost benefit analyses, business case analysis, trade-off studies, and analysis of alternatives performed prior to each change in the product support strategy or every five years, whichever occurs first.
You will support sparing analyses for key critical systems, components and inform recommendations for spares budget planning.
You will measure and evaluate program accomplishments, effectiveness, and/or compliance with meeting specific goals, objectives, rules, and regulations.
You will review and brief recommendations, and conclusions developed by the team which affect long-range program performance and strategies.
You will communicate with internal and external stakeholders for assigned area of product support.
You will generate correspondences, technical plans, instructions, and directives necessary to ensure effective communications among all activities participating with assigned programs.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level or pay band NH-02 (GS-11) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing, monitoring, evaluating, or coordinating product support readiness to support specified mission or program requirements for successful execution of modernization projects.
