Duties
Serves as Facilities Master Planner and MILCON and SRM programs coordinator.
Performs facilities planning, space management, and Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis.
Develops, initiates, and interprets objectives, policies, and functions as related to facilities engineering planning and its application and implementation.
Conducts on-site investigations to assess the feasibility and technical adequacy of proposed facilities projects.
Serves as the technical advisor and liaison on matters pertaining to master planning.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Master Planner, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to
successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level,
applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay
systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in grade
(General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other
regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Assists and provides guidance to assigned tenants in identifying facility related requirements and coordinates the preparation of necessary construction requirements and documentation.
Creates and maintains geospatial information at the installation and participates in enterprise level GIS activities.
Provides technical advice to a staff of professional engineers who are experts in their individual fields of responsibility as well as provides facilities input to professional logisticians or supply specialists.
Develops a multiple year Capital Investment Plan (CIP) for real property based on input from multiple resources.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
