Duties
Responsible for the oversight in executing the designing and planning of layouts and processes for major integrated systems of people, materials, and equipment systems within DLA Distribution Susquehanna (DDSP).
Oversees the Area Development Plan (ADP), Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Warehouse Execution System (WES) projects and their coordination with each other
Being the overall project lead (non-supervisory) for the matrix organized and cross functional project teams assigned to accomplish the project.
Provides project leadership, planning, coordination, and tracking for the teams.
Monitors team resources to ensure project milestones are accomplished on-time and on-budget.
Ensures alternatives are evaluated for mitigating any project risks or potential bottlenecks.
Monitors and evaluates progress and responsible for providing alternatives to leadership for resolving critical and sensitive project concerns.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Distribution Modernization Project Manager, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Implements project plans to meet objectives; coordinates and integrates project activities; oversees project resources; monitors project activities and resources to mitigate risk; makes improvements, solves problems, or takes corrective action when problems arise; gives presentations or briefings on all aspects of the project; participates in phase, milestone, and final project reviews; and identifies project documentation requirements or procedures.
Provides project leadership, planning, coordination, and tracking for the teams.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
