Join the Team! This position is located in the Office of Financial Management, Planning and Evaluation (EXFM), U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). EXFM is responsible for developing, operating, and improving the CPSC budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and internal EXFM controls. The Office is also responsible for agency risk management assessments to evaluate agency-wide programs.
Duties
The incumbent of this position will perform a variety of analytical duties connected with the annual and special use appropriation(s) activities.

Qualifications
All applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
GS-13: 1) reviewing and coordinating documents that reflect budget execution activities over multiple agency program areas; 2) analyzing and reconciling financial activities over obligations and expenditures in multiple appropriations; 3) developing and coordinating budget reporting; and recommending or providing guidance on financial/budget policies and procedures; AND 4) analyzing financial principles, laws, and regulations (i.e., OMB, GAO, and Treasury directives, etc.) to develop policies, procedures, practices, and guidelines needed to produce financial statements and reports and to monitor internal controls over funds.
