You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the BUDGET DIVISION of UNIF SRVS UNI OF THE HLTH SCI.

Duties

You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organizations programs and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will develop, determine and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will perform a variety of other fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing any of the phases or system of budge administration, fiscal, accounting or financial management to support the plans, programs, and activities including presenting and defending budget request, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.
