You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Naval Systems Engineering Directorate, Readiness and Logistics Group (SEA 05R) of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT. You will serve as the Division Director for the Resource Management and Readiness Division (NAVSEA 05R2) providing readiness and logistics leadership, expertise, and impactful solutions to support NAVSEA priorities.

Duties

You will provide leadership for activities such as Supply Support, Independent Logistics Assessment and Financial Management for Outfitting and Spares Appropriations. You will identify resource requirements and defend those requirements throughout the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution process. You will allocate resources to accomplish NAVSEA 05R objectives. You will oversee planning and execution of division tasking. You will lead and collaborate with multiple other organizations to resolve Fleet-wide logistics challenges. You will manage, monitor, evaluate and coordinate the execution of assigned Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to ensure achievement of desired outcomes. You will provide oversight and direction to ensure the Resource Management and Readiness Division provides proper support for weapons systems throughout their life cycle. You will supervise and promote professional development for assigned personnel individually and as a division.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, coordinating or overseeing Integrated Product Support functions for the acquisition of ship systems or equipment.
