As the Supervisory Administrative Specialist, you will be responsible for providing organizational support to management, staff, and co-workers on a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring all requests are completed and within guidelines set forth by the Center and Agency. You will lead a team of Executive Support Assistants and Administrative Support Assistants to perform the necessary administrative tasks for the Center.
Duties
Supervises a dedicated team of Executive Assistants and Administrative Assistants, actively advocating for their professional growth and success. Offers guidance on work methods, practices, procedures, problem-solving, and techniques.
Provides overall administrative management for the organization, including interpreting, developing, and implementing local and/or enterprise policies, defining administrative requirements, and/or providing advice to executive management.
Prepares correspondence, recommendations, reports, and memoranda on management and administrative matters, including creating charts and graphs for presentations.
Manages audio/video equipment seamlessly during meetings, workshops, and events, and consistently takes detailed meeting minutes as required.
Leads the delivery of highly effective, efficient, and technically advanced administrative support services, playing a key role in shaping optimal business solutions and significantly enhancing Glenn's overall administrative support capabilities.
Plans and develops new processes and methods for implementing management policies to improve the efficiency of the organization.
Manages and continually enhances a comprehensive system of databases and spreadsheets, ensuring meticulous tracking and reporting on the progress or status of key items relevant to both management and staff.
Ensures an exceptional customer service experience for all stakeholders, fostering positive interactions. Collaborates seamlessly with individuals both within and outside the organization, the Center, and across various Directorates.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-11, you must have:
a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level:
providing guidance or assistance to management and staff related to administrative, secretarial, or logistical duties;
providing enhancement recommendations of administrative procedures and standards to better support both management and staff; and
executing administrative and management tasks, which include extraction of information from diverse sources to inform strategic decision-making.
OR
b) Completed all requirements for a doctoral degree (i.e., Ph.D. or equivalent) in an appropriate field
OR
c) Completed 3 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or equivalent doctoral degree in an appropriate field
OR
d) LL.M., if related
OR
e) Have an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as discussed in a), b), c) and d) above
