You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (HR DEVELOPMENT/CLASSIFICATION) in the HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE COMMAND.
Duties
You will provide employee training and professional development guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees.
You will prepare training evaluation summaries and/or after action reports to reflect training provided and recommendations for future course offerings.
You will provide position management and classification support to assigned departments under various personnel systems.
You will review position and/or job descriptions, for content and format; prepares evaluations and position description cover sheets.
You will conduct periodic reviews to ensure PDs are accurate and complete.
You will compile statistical and narrative data used to evaluate programs and recommends corrective actions/improvements as required.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing expert management advisory and technical services on complex issues and work practices using detailed analytical methods to identify, evaluate, and recommend appropriate solutions in the effective delivery of human resources services AND applying, the full range of position classification and position management principles, concepts, practices, and techniques to advise managers on the development of positions.
