About the Position: This position is located at US Army Aviation and Missile Command; Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Region East Office at Tobyhanna Depot, PA.

Duties

Document the calibration process for calibrated instruments. Utilize physical dimensional reference standards to ensure traceability. Interpret electronic principles and/or practices to analyze calibration data. Determine the functionality of the equipment or standard to make recommendations if it were to be taken out of service.

• This position has a heavy lifting requirement. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, and handling of items weighing up to 40 pounds with occasional requirements to lift items in excess of 50 pounds.

I can perform precision measurement equipment calibrations on various types of electronic, electrical, and/or electromechanical systems. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Working Conditions: The work is performed in laboratories and user facilities where technicians are exposed to the hazards of high voltage high pressure, high and low temperatures, chemicals and radiation. Calibrators must comply with all safety regulations applicable to the calibration mission.
