You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT within the Retail Load List Management Division, Maritime Allowance and Outfitting Department. ***This Job Opportunity Announcement is using an additional online assessment tool to evaluate applicants. Duties

You will extract, analyze and report allowance and outfitting data, providing a means to evaluate and report on performance and budget levels across all DON stakeholders. You will perform detailed analysis using a variety of techniques, and keep data stored centrally. You will present data to the Maritime Allowance and Outfitting Directors. You will provide technical oversight and support concerning the efficiency, maintenance and effectiveness of the Allowance Programs and reporting process. You will perform studies and analyze data and processes related to financial, contracting and inventory management procedures used to retrieve, repair, stock and issue NAVSUP WSS managed material in support of Allowance requirements. You will apply sound judgment in determining the proper review for overall data content; identifying potential/existing problems.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Supply Program Management experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a knowledge of Allowance process and the major databases accountable for information on the aforementioned, and necessary expertise for extraction analysis, and formulation of supply solutions. Examples of specialzied experience include: 1) Perform analysis using a variety of techniques, and keep data stored centrally; 2) Assist in extracting, analyzing and reporting allowance data, and providing a means to evaluate and report on performance and budget levels across stakeholders; 3) Utilize a variety of supply systems ) to validate inventory associated with processing of most current allowances.; and 4) Review and evaluate reporting systems and procedures, and take action on process inadequacies. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education

Education Substitution for Experience at the GS-09 Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
OR possess a master's or equivalent degree
OR have completed two full years of graduate level education leading to such a degree
OR possess an LL.B. or J.D., if related
OR a combination of education and experience as described above that equates to one year of experience
