You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) of NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER OMN.

Duties

You will create or modify various functional or design documents such as financial, supply, acquisition and/or other government functional requirements. You will plan and coordinate feasibility studies to determine practicality of requirements from an Information Technology (IT) standpoint. You will recommend changes to proposed requirements and research applicable regulations, standards and policies. You will ensure design is consistent with law, security and privacy regulations. You will provide customer support to explain to explain how the system operates and or researches unexpected results.

• This position is assigned to a Cyber Security Workforce Certification requirement. You must achieve this certification within 12 months of position assignment and complete the certifying organization's requirements while assigned to the position.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Excellent written and verbal skills are essential. Must possess the ability to speak intelligently to individuals and groups at all levels of the organization to facilitate open communications, support, and cooperation. 2) Knowledge of logistics, analytical tools, and processes. 3) Your experience must reflect skills in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem-solving. 4) Ability to understand stakeholders, scope, deadlines, and mission. 5) Managing a team supporting IT naval supply chain products. 6) Extensive knowledge working in Navy ERP.
