You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the NAVY CLOSURE TASK FORCE - RED HILL of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII.

Duties

You will advise on needed improvements within the organizational structure, functional assignments, and procedures to improve the efficiencies and effectiveness in mission accomplishment. You will use Microsoft Office products to create analytical models for evaluating administrative operations. You will consolidate business or financial information to prepare a portfolio view of program data for manager review. You will analyze current processes to identify efficiencies in providing customer support. You will recommend solutions to senior officials for the purpose of maintaining efficiency or effective use of work flow processes.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position requires the incumbent to be on-call and available 24 hours a day unless in an authorized leave or temporary duty status. Incumbent may be required to work overtime.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluates and advises on a variety of organizational missions, structures, business methodology, administrative, and management practices for use within the program(s) and operations within the department; 2) Responsible for providing guidance and advice related to administrative policies and/or management and organizational theories that require considerable adaption and/or interpretation for application to internal program issues and problems; 3) Designs and conducts comprehensive management studies that are extremely broad and difficult to determine in advance in order to identify and propose solutions; and 4) Performs budget, financial and resource analysis, and provides analysis and recommendations to support cost comparison and/or benefits of current or projected program(s).
