You will serve as a Safety and Occupational Health Manager in the Digital Analytics Infrastructure & Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group, Infrastructure Safety and Environmental Department, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties
You will be responsible for the analysis, management and implementation of the Safety and Health Program.
You will coordinate safety occupational health (SOH) requirements, inspections, deficiencies, life safety issues, and the Enterprise Safety Application Management Services (ESAMS) support.
You will recommend application of specific techniques, methods and procedures to eliminate or control unsafe acts or conditions identified in survey.
You will perform and document reviews and evaluations to ensure appropriate OSH needs and considerations are incorporated into all operations, facilities, materials and equipment.
You will interpret and apply OSH standards and regulations, proper classification of violations and citations, adequate and reasonable abatement schedules, and resolution of OSH health hazards that impact on NAWCAD processes.
You will develop and conduct safety educational courses for civilian and military personnel.
You will assist supervisors and safety professionals in formulating and facilitating safety training.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Applying advanced concepts, principles and practices applicable to supporting safety and occupational health program goals and objectives; 2) Functioning as a subject matter expert in Safety and Occupational Health planning, management and analysis within an organization; 3) Interpreting occupational safety and health (OSH) standards and regulations to ensure proper classification of violations and citations, adequate and reasonable abatement schedules, and resolution of complex and unprecedented OSH health hazards that have a broad impact on agency processes; and 4) Providing technical leadership to team members in defining, integrating and accomplishing safety and occupational health program requirements.
