This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Deputy Commandant for Mission Support, Assistant Commandant for Human Resources/SADI (CG-1), Personnel Service Center (PSC), CG Recruiting Command (CGRC), Accessions Division, Officer Accessions and Analysis Branch, Washington, DC.
Duties
You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Military), assisting in providing oversight, quality assurance, and training the CG's recruiting workforce on all recruiting programs associated with accessions process, perform auditing functions regarding data entry, integrity, and security of all accession information entered and maintained in the Direct Access Solution Tracking System and other systems as required. You will assist in the reviewing of enlistments and officer selection reports to ensure all applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures are adhered to.

Qualifications
At the GS-11 Level: Applicants must have completed at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service. OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education OR possess a Ph.D. OR equivalent doctoral degree OR Have a combination of directly related work experience and graduate level education. Examples of specialized experience include: Applying human resources laws, principles, systems, policies, methods, practices, precedents, and technical services on substantive organizational functions and work practices; Reviewing, researching and analyzing program policies providing recommendations for changes; developing human resources policies and procedures governing military personnel; assisting the supervisor in maintaining and updating human resources military personnel manuals and instructions; and providing military human resources management advisory and technical services to managers. At the GS-12 Level: Applicants must have completed at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience include: Applying, human resources laws, principles, systems, policies, methods, practices, precedents, and technical services on substantive organizational functions and work practices; Reviewing, researching and analyzing program policies providing recommendations for changes; developing human resources policies and procedures governing military personnel; assisting the supervisor in maintaining and updating human resources military personnel manuals and instructions; and providing military human resources management advisory and technical services to managers.
