You will serve as a Technician in the Unmanned Control Systems Branch; Intelligent Automation Division; Weapons Control & Integration Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. If selected, you will serve as Fire Scout MD-4 Deputy In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA). This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. NT-05 is equivalent to GS-13/14. This position is salary capped GS-13 Step 10 (currently $145,617). See "Additional Information" section.

Duties

You will act as the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) Lead for the MD-4 Mission Control System (MCS). You will become a subject matter expert on the MD-4 MCS which includes working with LINUX computers in a networked environment, UHF/VHF and Ku-band data links, multi-cast video, and sensor data as well as other various ship and shore based systems. You will lead the fleet technical support reach-back process for all shipboard and land based MD-4 MCS systems. You will document known issues and track until corrected. You will create test procedures, process documents, and draft engineering briefs as required.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting electronics technical work in support of the development, test & evaluation, troubleshooting, or sustainment of warfare systems.
