This position is located at the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center in Norfolk, VA.
Duties
The position serves as the supervisor for the Workforce – Administration Branch (WFAB), Business Operation Divisions (BOD), Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center (SILC), Norfolk, VA and functions as the Senior Management and Program Analyst with responsibility for the complex administrative operations and programs to ensure effectiveness of programs and agency functions, including management of workforce performance, vacancy, staff alignment, and recruitment/retention efficiency

- This position requires a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
- A one-year Supervisory Probationary Period may be required.
Qualifications
You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level performing duties such as:
Ensuring linkage between the Organization’s goals and Command strategic plans.
Coordinating a variety of management support and manpower issues, in support of the organization, concerned with long-range planning on a broad spectrum, with the principal goal of providing solutions to major management problems
Directly liaisons on behalf of command for staff resource needs to senior officials, including non-routine SES level briefings.
Providing input in the development of SILC business administration goals and objectives
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge of successfully perform the duties of this position is typically in or related to this line of work.
