About the Position: Serves as the Supervisory Budget Analyst for the Resource Management Office, Fort Liberty, NC.
Duties
Supervise overall performance of subordinate employees, to include providing guidance to subordinates in terms of performance standards, problems concerning discipline, training needs, career development, etc.
Establish priorities and make work assignments to subordinates with explanation of objectives.
Develop budget/program processes, procedures and guidance for executing financial management plans and programs.
Execute a major segment of the command budget and a total budget for one or more funds.
Serve as expert planner, coordinator and advisor for agency policy regarding contingency/mobilization planning/readiness and/or natural disaster activities, within DoD constraints.
Provide managers with objectively based information for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of agency operations and management.
Requirements
- Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Employee must be willing and able to travel in military and commercial aircraft and vehicles.
- Employee may be required to work overtime.
- This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
