About the Position: You will serve as a Senior Management Analyst in the Headquarters (HQ), Criminal Investigation Division (CID), G-3, Force Management Division (FMD), responsible for all phases of projects in functional areas with emphasis on their relationship to CID manpower and force structure..
Duties
Develop and prepare concept plans, staffing actions and other material, and provides them as input for command plans to realign, inactivate, activate, or reorganize current force structure.
Apply and adapt a variety of methods in areas such as cost analysis, program planning, resource management capabilities, force costing, and
statistical analysis.
Manage the development of Requirements Documents (Tables of Organization and Equipment, Modified Tables of Equipment and Generating Force Tables of Distribution and Allowances) and actions involving force structure and equipment modernization.
Input and retrieve data using established databases and systems for the purpose of tracking, clarifying and updating the force structure approved manpower levels.
Attend conferences convened by military or civilian agencies to discuss new or existing manpower concepts, force structure, equipment, personnel, organizations, and procedures.
Maintain internal manpower and Program Budget Guidance, force accounting, civilian and military personnel series and grade, and historical authorization audit trails using software programs.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: utilize manpower and force management strategies sufficient to coordinate and execute mission-oriented projects, programs, and studies; conduct detailed analysis of complex functions and work processes; and provide analytical, liaison, consultative, and advisory services to and for key officials of the general staff and subordinate organizations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
