You will serve as an Electronics Technician of NAS OCEANA.
Duties
You will diagnose faults in the operational configuration of electronic systems and equipment.
You will compose technical reports to communicate the progress, evaluation, analysis, conclusions or recommendations on assigned projects.
You will evaluate system performance of newly installed electronic equipment and structures (e.g., antennas, transmitters, receivers) under actual operating conditions.

Qualifications
For The GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting maintenance of Air Traffic Control Communication Systems used by the FAA; 2) Interpreting Electronic theory and principle to maintain accurate results of data; 3) Maintaining Computer theory and/or operation as it pertains to ATC systems for maintenance programming and diagnostic software; 4) Interpreting digital techniques and/or Integrating Chip theory; 5) Interpreting mathematic symbology and/or numbering systems to ensure accurate data; 6) Using appropriate test equipment to determine the cause of malfunctions and/or take corrective action; 7) Analyzing circuits, prepare detailed electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and/or engineering drawings.
For the G-08: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: : 1) Interpreting the maintenance of Air Traffic Control Communication Systems used by the FAA and DoD; 2) Interpreting Electronic theory and principle to ensure accurate data; 3) Interpreting computer theory and/or operation as it pertains to ATC systems for maintenance programming and diagnostic software 4.) Using appropriate test equipment to determine the cause of malfunctions and take corrective action; 5) Analyzing circuits, prepare detailed electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and/or engineering drawings
