As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Serves as the Team Manager for the Resource Support (AJV/AJW2) Team.
Duties
Directs the work of subordinate employees and/or managers for multiple organizational units/projects/programs and across multiple function and/or disciplines within a major subdivision. Duties typically include: strategic planning, communicating the organizations vision and objectives, setting priorities, assigning tasks and responsibilities, monitoring and evaluating performance of organizational units, coaching and developing staff and organizational capabilities, approving leave, and taking, recommending, or approving corrective/disciplinary action, as appropriate.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

- Security Requirement: Moderate Risk (5): This position requires completion & favorable adjudication of a Moderate Risk Background Investigation (Tier 2) background investigation prior to appointment, unless waiver is obtained.
- Supervisory Probationary period: One year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-J, FG/GS-14 level.
