Duties
carries out highly structured, entry-level assignments in the design, development and maintenance of databases.
Assists in returning disrupted database systems to normal operations.
Creates reports and manipulates data in response to customer requirements..
Communicates factual and procedural information clearly, orally, and in writing. Gathers and analyses basic facts and draws conclusions.
Diagnoses and resolves basic data management problems and issues.
Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles, and practices.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier III background investigation.
- May require lifting and carrying supplies that weighs up to 20 pounds.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Experience, education and/or specialized training sufficient to demonstrate a basic IT knowledge and skill in applying:
Database management concepts; - Backup and recovery procedures; and
Commonly used query languages to create reports and manipulate data.
