You will serve as a Performance Assessment Representative in the Public Works Business Line, Facilities Contracts Management and Facilities Services Branch of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH. ***This Job Opportunity Announcement is using an additional online assessment tool to evaluate applicants. Duties

You will perform inspections/assessments in hazardous waste disposal areas, HVAC systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems, custodial, grounds and structural systems and subsystems, and renovation projects. You will develop quality assurance/performance assessment plans for specific contracts. You will monitor contractors' adherence to safety measures, wage and hour laws, and labor relations. You will develop cost analysis schedules and cost estimates for new solicitations or contract modifications.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Perform inspections/assessments in hazardous waste disposal areas, HVAC systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems, custodial, grounds and structural systems and subsystems, and renovation projects; 2) Develop quality assurance/performance assessment plans for specific contracts; 3) Monitor contractors' adherence to safety measures, wage and hour laws, and labor relations; 4) Develop cost analysis schedules and cost estimates for new solicitations or contract modifications.
