About the Position: This position will serve as a Supervisory Integration Technical Advisor with Fires CDID, Army Futures Command located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Duties

Supervises and reviews the efforts and work of assigned employees and their respective tasks Assigns work to subordinates employees based on priorities, consideration of technical difficulty, mission requirements, and capabilities and qualifications. Exercises the full range of personnel management responsibilities. Responsible for providing sound analytical advice in matters relating to financial, operational and management issues. Reviews, interprets, and ensures that FCoE Staff policy is implemented on procedures, and substantive program matters. Conducts formal reviews of policies, plans, and programs, and recommends approval authority to CDID Leadership. Plans, directs, manages and coordinates activities supporting the DOTMLPF Process, Program Objective Memorandum (POM) funding priorities and strategy, and Capability Portfolio Reviews. Incumbent formulates and implements program plans, policies and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • Requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315,
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Providing sound analytical advice in matters relating to financial, operational and management issues; AND 4. Supervise and/or lead a team of employees to ensure continuity of assigned work. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For the GS-14 grade level, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted at this level. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: AccountabilityLeadershipTechnical CompetenceWriting Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
