You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Operations Branch of SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS.

Duties

You will be responsible for the management of the Navy's initial accession school quotas and training pipeline management from Street to Fleet. You will participate in the annual accession planning to provide realistic assessment of the pipeline's capacity and is the authoritative source for accession training quota management in the Navy. You will utilize personnel systems/databases, you will ensure pertinent data is updated to show correct status to enable all production units to plan and adapt to normal variations in the supply chain. You will maintain contact with Navy-wide headquarters operations personnel in recruiting, training, and personnel distribution "production units". You will prepare and deliver effective high-level briefs related to a complex array of processes and decisions, to a wide variety of stakeholders.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 11) applying pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents that affect the organizations processes and related support resources. 2) Knowledge of the current polices regarding accession plans, end-strength, community management and distribution; 3) knowledge of scientific methodology and it application to data presentation and analysis; 4) analyze and present data in oral and graphical presentation to senior leaders; and 5) knowledge of IT management process used in manpower, personnel and training to flow students through the accession and initial training process.
