About the Position: Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA) mission statement: To receive, store, ship, produce, renovate and demilitarize conventional ammunition, missiles and related components to meet contingency requirements in support of the warfighter.
Duties
The incumbent supports Crane Army Ammunition Activity CAAA in acquiring mission-based supplies, equipment, software and services.
The incumbent assists and advises on competitive or sole source acquisition procedures for supplies, equipment, software or services, as well as the procedures for existing contracts with delivery or task orders.
The incumbent performs pre-award procurement functions and works with technical experts in the mission areas as necessary.
The incumbent monitors and reports on the status and progress of procurements, checks with the customer about renewals and extensions, updates the data bases and provides status updates.
The employee will obtain the required training and delegation as Contracting Officer Representative COR from the delegated Contracting Officer (CO).
Ensures correct credit card procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are applied to the procurement.

- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
