You will serve as a MANAGER in the TEST AND EVALUATION MANAGEMENT DIVISION, COMBAT SYSTEMS TEST AND EVALUATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties
You will serve as the Test and Evaluation Management Division Manager (C40) and coordinate with executive managers, project managers, and program sponsors in determining personnel, budgeting, material and time resources for the execution of tasks.
You will provide the administration and management of a medium to large workforce in the life cycle and in-service systems test and evaluation for varied Combat Systems for the Surface Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and related Land-based sites.
You will lead a supervisory team to maintain strong financial execution, personnel staffing and hiring, training, and adherence to department and command/station processes, instructions, and policies.
You will improve or design new work processes and procedures to improve productivity and added value of products, analyze organizational and operational problems, and develop timely economical solutions.
You will retain and continuously improve integrity and effectiveness, discipline, and rigor of Test and Evaluation processes.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical and administrative oversight over in-service engineering, Integrated logistics systems (ILS)/Integrated product support (IPS), or Test and Evaluation programs to develop plans and resolve operational or procedural issues impacting ship combat or weapon systems readiness.
