This position is located in Quality Training and External Affairs Division, Service Center Operations Directorate.
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will analyze a variety of programs and oversee quality management and improvement projects designed to implement effective and cost efficient processes and solutions.
Duties
Collect and study data to reveal ways to improve and enhance operational effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity for major aspects of substantive agency mission-oriented programs.
Provide technical assistance and support to management in a variety of matters relating to quality management procedures, studies and projects.
Lead working groups and identifies process improvement opportunities that reveal significant or mission critical deficiencies.
Design and executes plans to automate and streamline processes using business automation methodologies and tools.
Communicate with organizational peers and leaders to establish unit priorities, policies, objectives and long range plans.
Qualifications
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 12/13/2023.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 12/13/2023.
GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Analyzing study results and recommending actions to achieve program objectives and improvements.
Overseeing quality management and improvement projects designed to implement effective and cost efficient processes while meeting the agencies objectives;
Making recommendations about the methods to use to collect, analyze and manage data to improve data quality and efficiency of data systems.
Collaborating with peers to identify best practices and ensure the organization's interests are represented and objectives are met.
Preparing well written reports and proposals based on analytical and quality management findings to provide recommendations for improvement.
