You will serve as a TRANSITION READINESS COORDINATOR in the Transition Readiness Branch, Marine Corps Community Services Department of MARINE CORPS BASE.
Duties
You will conduct transition readiness seminars and workshops (e.g., skills assessment, resume writing, interviewing techniques , financial plans, debt management and budgeting).
You will interview clients to determine their transition readiness needs.
You will coordinate logistics for the weekly Department of Labor Employment workshop and workshops for retirees and other targeted groups.
You will assist in the analysis and evaluation of program operations to ensure the programs are meeting established objectives.
You will conduct a public relations campaign on programs to include written public, contacts and videos.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting military members in their transition into and out of the military by conducting readiness workshops and seminars, advising customers on transition support services AND providing program evaluation for continued improvement of readiness programs.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
A master's or equivalent graduate degree.
OR
Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
OR
LL.B. or J.D. degree that is related to the position being filled.
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
