About the Position: This position is with the 63rd Readiness Division, Headquarters, Family Program Office, Human Resources Office located at Moffett Field, California.
Duties
Engage in work groups to ensure the financial readiness needs of service members are met.
Oversee training to team members on matters relative to the Financial Literacy program.
Coordinate the dissemination of program information through the Public Affairs office.
Participate in contingency and strategic planning for the Financial Literacy program.
Manage Financial Literacy resources and communication within the program.
Determine requirements to facilitate training of the Financial Literacy program.
Prepare reports and maintain records of work accomplishments and administrative information to measure program effectiveness.
Recommend appropriate financial training for personnel based on Vantage requirements.
Provide oversight of work performed by the Financial Literacy Specialists.
Advise supervisor on program changes, effectiveness and efficiency.
Conduct site visits to promote the program and supervise Financial Counselor training.
Address personnel problems in order to resolve complaints.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes participating in the development and implementation of a Financial Literacy program; analyzing program data to prepare reports; determining training requirements within an organization; and assisting with workload management This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
