This position is part of the Deputy Administrator for Defense Programs, Department of Energy. A successful candidate in this position will serve as Program Analyst, providing wide ranging multi-program management support and senior level program analysis expertise within NA-10's
programs of record.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service, i.e., EN-02 pay band level or the GS-11 level. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience in all 3 of the following:
1. Performing a variety of analytical studies and projects related to program improvement, productivity improvement, and/or long-range planning of program operations.
2. Providing program support and guidance to senior officials concerning organizational activities and/or management processes.
3. Applying pertinent laws, regulations, policies, precedents, or other congressional or executive branch requirements affecting reporting on or use of program operations.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
